Ixian takes its name from the fictional technologists in Dune—a society of inventors and builders who pushed the boundaries of what was possible through engineering and innovation.

John Chaplin – Founder & CEO

John leads Ixian’s commercial strategy, capital formation, and development platform. With over $30 billion in energy and infrastructure transaction experience, he has advised, financed, and delivered projects in nuclear, renewables, and distributed energy. Before founding Ixian, John served as VP of Commercial at Last Energy and as Principal at Olorins Capital.
