The Role
As CTO, you will set Ixian’s technical vision and lead teams building the industrial technology stack of the future. You will own our technology roadmap, oversee architecture decisions, and lead the development of integrated solutions across software, data, and hardware. This is a senior leadership role working closely with the executive team, product managers, and engineering leads to ensure we deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms for energy and industrial applications.
Responsibilities
Own technical strategy, architecture, and product roadmap across all projects and platforms
Lead and mentor high-performing engineering teams in software, hardware, and data systems
Oversee system integration and ensure interoperability of industrial, grid, and data platforms
Collaborate with commercial, development, and operations teams to align technology with business needs
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage
Partner with executive leadership on strategic decisions, funding pitches, and technology partnerships
Qualifications
10+ years of technical leadership experience, ideally in energy, industrial, or high-growth technology companies
Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-disciplinary technology projects from concept to deployment
Deep technical expertise across software engineering, data architecture, and hardware systems
Strong background in systems integration, industrial automation, or energy systems preferred
Experience hiring, managing, and scaling engineering teams
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to align technical teams with business priorities
